AI Content Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Every series on ShortMovo is a work of fiction produced in-house using generative AI. This page explains what that means for what you are watching, who is responsible for it, and what to do if you believe something on the Service should not be there.
1. How our series are made
ShortMovo writes, directs and edits every title released on ShortMovo. Generative AI tools are used to produce the visuals, the performances and the voices you see and hear.
A person selects the story, reviews the generated material and approves each episode before it is published. Nothing is published to the Service automatically.
2. The performers are synthetic
The characters in our series are not real people. They are generated. No performer you see on the Service is a real actor who appeared on a set, and no voice you hear is a recording of a real person speaking those lines.
Our titles do not depict real people, real organizations or real events. Any resemblance between a generated character and an actual person, living or dead, is unintended and coincidental.
We do not create titles that are designed to look like a real, identifiable person, and we do not knowingly generate the likeness or voice of a real individual without their permission.
3. Disclosure
We label our content as AI-generated rather than leaving viewers to guess. That disclosure appears in the footer of every page of the Service and on this page.
Where a law that applies to you requires synthetic audiovisual content to be marked as such, our disclosure is intended to satisfy that requirement. If you are a regulator or a distribution partner and need the disclosure presented differently, contact us at the address below.
4. Fiction, not information
Our series are entertainment. They are not documentaries, journalism, or a record of anything that happened.
Nothing in a title should be relied on as medical, legal, financial or any other kind of advice, and no character statement represents the views of any real person or organization.
5. Rights in what we publish
We claim rights in our titles as they are published: the stories, scripts, direction, selection, arrangement, editing, sound, artwork and the finished episodes as a whole, together with the ShortMovo name and branding.
The legal status of purely machine-generated output differs from country to country, and in some places material with no human author may not attract copyright protection at all. That does not change your obligations to us: your right to watch is a limited licence granted under our Terms of Service, and the prohibitions in our Copyright Policy on recording, redistributing, reselling or bypassing our access controls apply to every title on the Service regardless of how any particular jurisdiction classifies it.
6. Reporting a problem
Contact us if you believe that a title on the Service:
- depicts you, or reproduces your face, body or voice;
- reproduces a real person in a way that could be mistaken for them;
- uses a work you hold rights in;
- contains material that should not be published, or is rated incorrectly for its content.
Likeness and voice concerns: [email protected]
Copyright and other rights: [email protected]
Tell us the title and episode, what the problem is, and how to reach you. We review reports individually, and we will take a title down while we look into a credible claim.
7. Your data is not our training data
We do not use your account information, viewing history, support messages or payment records to train generative models, and we do not sell or share that information with third parties for their model training.
Our production process uses licensed and commercially available tools; it does not draw on the personal data of our viewers.
8. Changes
Our production methods will change as the tools do. We will keep this page current, and the effective date at the top reflects the latest version.
