Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

• The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
• Certain titles may have additional age restrictions. You must meet the displayed age requirement to access such content.
• If you are not legally able to enter into a purchase agreement in your jurisdiction, purchases must be made or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
• Accounts are for personal, non-commercial use and may not be sold, transferred, shared commercially, or used to provide access to unauthorized third parties.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

• Some content may require payment.
• Prices and applicable billing terms will be displayed before purchase.
• Coin purchases are one-time payments. Coins are a limited licence to view content on the Service; they are not currency, not property, and not transferable.
• VIP access is sold as a fixed-length pass by default. Auto-renewal is off unless you explicitly turn it on before payment.
• If you choose a recurring subscription, the price and billing frequency will be clearly shown before you confirm payment. You may cancel future renewals at any time from your account page.
• Cancellation does not automatically refund charges already paid unless required by law or stated in our Refund Policy.

4. License to View Content

When you purchase or obtain access to content, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to stream that content through our Service.

You do not acquire ownership of the video or any underlying intellectual property.

You may not:

• copy, download or redistribute our videos except where we expressly provide a download function;
• record or reproduce substantial portions of the Service for redistribution;
• sell, sublicense or publicly display our content;
• bypass access controls or content protection systems;
• extract video streams or use automated tools to obtain protected media;
• share paid access with unauthorized third parties.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the films, episodes, scripts, artwork, logos, graphics and other materials available through ShortMovo are produced by, owned by or licensed to ShortMovo.

All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved. Section 6 explains how our titles are produced and how that affects the rights in them.

6. AI-Generated Content

Every series on ShortMovo is fiction produced in-house using generative AI. The performers, voices and imagery are synthetic. They are not recordings of real people, and our titles do not portray real people, organizations or events.

We disclose this on every page of the Service and in our AI Content Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

• You may not present our titles as depicting real events or real people.
• You may not use our titles, or any character, face or voice appearing in them, to train machine-learning models, or to generate derivative or synthetic media.
• You may not remove or obscure any AI disclosure, watermark or credit we attach to a title.
• If you believe a title reproduces a real person’s likeness or voice, tell us — see the AI Content Policy for how, and what we do about it.

7. Content Ratings

Some content may contain violence, frightening scenes, strong language, mature themes or other material that may not be suitable for all viewers.

Where appropriate, we provide age ratings and content notices to help viewers make informed choices. See our Content Rating Policy.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, network conditions, third-party infrastructure or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe an account is involved in fraud, unauthorized redistribution, account abuse, attempts to bypass security controls, or material violations of these Terms.

10. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights applicable in your jurisdiction.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShortMovo will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you in your country or state of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version and effective date will be posted on this page.
